Maple Apple Crisp by Lavona Benoit

5 Med Pared and peeled Apples
1/2 cup Vermont Pure Maple Syrup
1/2 cup Flour
1/2 cup Firmly packed Brown Sugar
1/2 cup Rolled Oats
2tsp Apple Pie Spices
1/2 cup Butter

Slice apples and place in lightly greased 8 inch square baking dish.  Pure syrup over apples and toss lightly. In medium bowl, combine flour, brown sugar, oats and spices. Cut in butter until mixture resembles course crumbs. Sprinkle topping over apples. Bake in 375 degree oven 25-30 minutes or until apples are tender and topping is lightly browned.
